anyone using the eVGA 8800GTS?
here's my score at 551/847.
run default clock speed can only get 6k++

rams are winston cl5.. cpuz reported 5-5-5-18...

But i oc my cpu to have 1-1 with my rams....

But cannot be le... 8600GT should not be at 4600+ should be at 5600+.... very worried..

i dont think its the ram affecting the overclock.
one thing i realized abt 3dmark06 is that its really dependant on the gfx card.
before i overclocked my 8800gts, the scores would never cross 10k.
so i guess if your comfortable, you could try tweaking it a little with rivatuner.
or wait for comments from the more pro members la. =)
u shd be kicking my ass in 3dmark06 processor-wise though.
sometimes i wish i chose the e6750...
also, try lowering ur ram timings.. if possible..
mine runs fine at 450mhz..4-4-4-12..dont know abt urs though..cos i nt familiar with tt brand.

ur scores are all right what bro. dont take my benchmarks as a reference if u do.. default 8600gt is ur score. oc is 5k plus.

my kinda oc is 7k plus.. so ur doing okay bro!

Really?? Oh ok.. tot it should be 5k+ at default and 6k+ at oc... Cos I am like the slowest in 06 for the same config...

Tot it is due to immature drivers for 8600GT..

Just wondering.. idle at 58C and load at 80C is it too high???

i suggest a custom heatsink, and maybe lowering the volts if it still runs stable.
mine idles arnd 27 loads arnd 42. but then again my overclock not that big anyway.
oh and i wanted to ask you if this overclock u have is prime stable.
cos sometimes an unstable overclock may dampen that 3dmark score of yours.
now if only i can get to 3.2ghz.

no no i am not talking about the cpu.... I am talking about the gfx card..
