looks like some creature with evil eyes.. i like leh LOL..

Everyone use eyes nowadays..

Nvidia
ROG
Gigabyte

Maybe we need to ask them to change from use Eyes to Nose

"Graphics so Good! You can even smell it!"

Sidenote: AMD, just show us the goods. No point hyping.

if vega is out by 30 May, then volta by 3rd quarter of 2017
vega can still earn for 3-4 months before volta hit back with 2080
2070 might not be vega's competitor??

chill bro.. the first link was dated 17 April..
the others are just supplement to the thread as a whole.

it's not like Vega is something plucked from the air, but rather just a matter of official announcement.

https://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/3009057/amd-vega-graphics-cards-are-coming-this-quarter

AMD HAS ACCIDENTALLY confirmed that graphics cards bearing its long-awaited new Vega GPU microarchitecture will be released this quarter.

The confirmation, made via a now-deleted posting on Facebook, suggests that they will be out by the end of June at the latest. Back in January, May was mooted as the likely launch date.

The news comes just days after AMD unveiled its latest professional graphics card, the Radeon Pro Duo, packing not one, but two Polaris-based GPUs and a not inconsiderable 32GB of GDDR5 memory.

The company has acquired the habit of lining-up embargoed press briefings normally no more than a week before a launch. With the long tail of online media invited to such briefings, there are invariably leaks ahead of the official launch date. That happened with both the Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 unveilings.

However, AMD has already revealed a fair bit about Vega, so the launch is unlikely to contain many big surprises.

I believe end of this quarter will more like soft launch and hard availability sometime in August where it comes with low supply blah blah blah...

how the hell they going to do that :s13::s13: i think they going to release in the range or 1070 - Titan x range .. and let rx580 at 1060 range .... if they really release vega starting @ 1060 prime but sub 1070 ... that will really suck ...

Ya, will really suck if vega is 1070-1080 equivalent.

if it's a couple of frames difference in real world application or gaming, then i'll take Vega anytime over nvidia..
problem is Nvidia seems to give the fear (at least to me ) that since most games optimise best with Nvidia card, if you use AMD card, you are going to 'suffer' in some ways..
