Launch means can buy from Apple Online store, physical store and telco can start selling in their stores already
If you pre-order earlier, you should be able to get it on that day if you are lucky!

Singapore has been the first batch(same with US) for quite some time(except Apple Watch due to training reasons and was in 2nd batch)

Apparently Apple has pushed China and Japan launch date to 25 September. Some European countries too. It has been reported in most major tech website. Even the ever accurate Kuo said it might be pushed back.
