Yes those two are good choices too.

UOB 4.75% resets 19nov 2019 onwards to 6year sgd swap offer + 2.92% spread

UOB 4.9% resets 23rd July 2018 onwards to 5years sgd swap offer. + 3.195% spread

Both are Basel III capital instrument.

Is UOB 4.9% Basel III? Why is its Ask price lower than UOB 4.75%?

Can share What products are you invested for fx?
I am new to bonds and these stuffs you mentioned and keen to learn more, hope you don't find my questions irritating

My fx are mainly some short positions. I don't manage them myself, got a manager from my bank doing it.

Would suggest you to give him links that would provide him with the details of how to go about doing fx trading instead of answering him the way you are now.

It's gonna drag on and be taxing for both. Just saying.

It was a tongue and cheek comment. Initially I really thought you were a troll(trying to clock up forum posts count). Cant blame me. I checked all your posts/replies and they were all short questions. If you are like me who wants to learn and discuss here then I apologize, misinterpreted your intentions.

Hey, don't take this the wrong way but maybe you should consider being less abrasive? You bristle when people think you are a troll, that is understandable. Perhaps you should think why people think that way? Posting relentless questions about the same topics without offering any inputs repeatedly is why people think that way. Friendly suggestion - maybe explain why you want to know something and periodically contribute content and opinions. :)

I am new to bonds and fx so I can't contribute much for now except asking questions. Once I am more into them I can then share my experience.

Back to my question are you trading fx on spot?

Indeed we are all here to learn. I don't see how you can get agitated by my words here

I'm simply asking wondrdoggie to give you links to learn what you wish to learn in details. How's that got you so fed up?:s22:

If it's getting to you now, it's just as I said, it's gonna be taxing for both of you.

Helping you learn one shot also kenna comments like 'get out', 'dirty'...

One sentence questions repeatedly directed at a particular person seems to be something more appropriate to private messaging. Why do you want to do such questioning in a public forum and then get upset when people comment on why are you doing private messaging on a public forum thread.

Capmallasia treasury 3.8%(PW3Z) also getting close to par. This one got step up to 4.5% if not called next year.

If it goes below par this would be without question the better buy, just play for one year's worth of interest. High chance they'll call this. If they don't, it'll be a brilliant trade.

However, i think the market not THAT inefficient to price it below par... but if it does... :D:D:D:D

Yes treat them like fixD. Bonds are the only asset class that is in the green now due to capital protection on maturity. The rest(stocks, reits, pennies), most are wiped out.
