Hey guys.

I'm looking for an entry-level mtb. Can you tell me what brands should I consider and what brands I should avoid?

Brands I've looked up on:
Jamis
Hasa (I heard this one no more brought into sg liao?)
Giant
GT
Polygon
Avanti

Which ones have reasonable entry-level bikes?

my budget <200

Don't they have entry-level ones?

What should I increase my budget to to get a reasonably good bike?

GT's entry level aggressor costs 300+, almost 400. Other brands should be around there.

What do you intend to do with the bike? If it's casual cycling and commuting, go carrefour, they got an aleoca with rigid fork going for less than 100 i think. Get the one with 26 inch wheels

I want a decent bike which can endure pretty long distances. I heard aleoca isn't very durable?

How about Polygon Monarch? Is it good? It's retailing for around 210.

Or Raleigh M20?

I don't mind buying 2nd hand.

Where to buy Raleigh M20 & how much?

The shop that says the M20 stock will be coming in after CNY is CYCLE N PEDAL at Blk 278, Bukit Batok East Ave 3 #01-343 Singapore 650278. (Tel: 64254268).

But I couldn't wait that long, so I bought a 2nd hand hasa comp 1.0 =)
