Apple Watch Edition will have a hard time convincing typical users that its better than a 10k Rolex/Omega/Cartier etc :s13:

i think,
the super rich, who have 20 Rolex, 15 AP, they will be ok to add one gold watch to their collection.

for the 1st time owner, he should be aiming a Rolex for sure and not apple.

Anyway, it does looks cool...the ability to ans calls is useful for drivers...but the batt technology needs to be improved further to make it mainstream use.

Now i already got lotsa items to charge every nite haha..

if you are going outdoor camping for a few days and you are wearing an apple watch, then you might as well just wear a giant bracelet.

Apple Watch Definitely for someone always in door and seating on a desk....but if that's the case, why need a smartwatch?

i ran alot of marathons and do alot of hikes.....with that kind of battery life, i might as well carry a giant generator behind my back all the time if i got an apple watch...LOL

my 2 cents.

many rich ppl buy luxury watch not just to show off but for collection and investments...

you can pass your 1980s Rolex to your grandkids as a family heirloom and he will be grateful to you.

Imagine in 2050, your ah gong give you an Apple Watch Edition Circa 2015 (with a dead battery and 40 years outdated software) and say this will be the family heirloom. I doubt you will jumping in joy...LOL

i know
tats the prob with iphone 3GS too.

for me, i just want to use it
then apple watch 2 come out, sell apple watch and the cycles continue.

wont' get the 10K version la.

in fact, i am thinking about aluminium vs stainless steel.
one is brighter than the other... thats all.
remember, we are talking about 1-2 years of usage at max... who needs the toughest metal that have alloys that enhances the strength to 80% more?
