not really. can wear is 1 thing, comfy or not is another thing. different people different head

ya... bro i recommend go L&T Cycle at Tampines hor... to try the helmet out...

recommend Matrix , FOX or MET.

all these 3 brands.. usually wun go wrong.. as for budget, set aside at least 100... a good helmet goes a long long way... good investment for protection... in some event it might even save ur life.... most impt is fit ... no pressure point.

of course can also try chapter 2 cycle at AMK. but always so crowded. they also not keen on entertaining u unless u really tell them u wanna buy.... then they bother to serve u. else u probably will end up looking urself... but range wise, L&T got more than C2C if i am not wrong =]

Currently wanting to get a nice Mountain Bike budget less than $200, any recommendations ?

Lost touch a lot on the brands of the accessories / parts etc ever since my young days.

I don't mind a 2nd hand and also I'd very much like to go for a full suspension one.

I'd really appreciate if any could enlighten me here

For $200 bucks, u want to get full suspension? Go Carrefour and look at those alecca brand or any neighbourhood bic shop for those mushroom brand like Hercules, Dura, ST or Momoki.

But I serious advise against for $200, not worth getting full suspension one. Cos those suspension are for show only. It will not work well and add up the weight of yr bic. Those are cheap full suspension. For that money, I rather get a steel , no suspension bike with trigger shift/multi gear. Works better, lighter and faster.

To get a decent full suspension bic. U need to pay at least $1k. Even second hand one will not be cheap.

If u intend to go off road with that $200 bic, I will say a big 'No'. I afraid either the bike will KO or u will KO. U think those people spend few K for off road ride for show off only? No, cos it really works.

If u just intend ti stay on road and pavement. $200 is ok.

Alvin, can try Giant Tampines, a lot of varieties over there.

Wah rao, talk about URATA, my bmx is really de heavy, can train muscles ****, slope is the killer.

Btw, just bought this dynamo flashlight, don't know if it fits to the bicycle or not. I've no cam phone so I take this pix from the net. This flashlight can be used to charge mobile phone. Alamak, crank for a few minutes, some paint come off the side. 8.50, cannot complain I guess.

It's aluminum right? If so, then just wielding would not regain the structure's strength. Need some special treatment after wielding to regain the strength. Don't think it will be cheap if available. Think better off getting a new frame.

My new hoot to replace the old frame.

Solid frame for that kind of selling price.
