wow that's a lot of savings. but how to u keep ur bike safe when u park outside?

No gurantee safe but use a strong lock. U-lock is good cos the rod is much thicker and harder to saw compare to cable lock.

Don't park at secluded area which hardly any passerby encounter. A strong crowd deter a thief from sawing/cutting yr lock. Don't use a too expensive bicycle as commuter,avoid disc brake bicycle at all cost. Less than $500 shall be ok.

Hi to all. I am new to this. With budget around $300. U think the current offer of $349 (specs listed below) from the ocbc cycle s'pore worth it ? Or is there any better option i can get from the shops ? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the advice. Ya, i agree with u that riding a good bike is a joyful experience.
I've lost touch of riding bike for quite long, just want to pick up this hobby again

i wouldnt exactly say just nice. u still might have to play around with ur aeatpost offset and stem length/height depending on ur preference/ riding style.

grab the bike and start riding first, then slowly play around.

You'd need a L sized frame, 19" or 21", depending on how long your legs are too.

hi ppl.. looking to buy a new bicycle for daily commute purpose as well as occassional cycling trip.. any bike to reccomend? what are the things to look out for when you are choosing a bicycle (and how you test)?? btw is the Safra still selling the Shimano Polygon? i had heard its quite gd but would like to listen to more comments and reccommendations before i buy.. dunno anything abt buying bicycle. Thanks in advance =)

Ok la. The price looks unbeatable.. Is it 6 x 3 speed? Did u try to carry it up to try the weight? I bet its steel which will means its quite heavy but for that price. I will still say its value for money.
