after googling reviews on both Olympus O-MD E-M10 Mk 2 and Sony A6000, still undecided on both mirrorless...:(

still using my Sony A350 with 16-50mm 2.8 and 50mm 1.8 nia..

want to change to a lighter and smaller one, A350 damn heavy when on 16-50mm, my neck was arching after sometime.

Olympus photos look rich n nice, Sony one (base on my A350) looks nature, really dun koe which to choose...:(:(

have you tried the physical form factor of both? which works better for you?
i suspect A6000 might be better in low light shots...

TBH, I'm attracted to Olympus em10 m2 as it really looks like Olympus OM-1n which my dad owned and give it to me to try photography when I'm young

But I have been using Sony A350 for 8 years and very very familiar with Sony controls and I'm very sure Sony A6000 Spec is way better than Olympus, the only thing that stop me getting olympus is the control, the menu, everything have to relearn and scare that later I regret getting Olympus...:(:(

if there is ever one tip i can provide, unless you are sponsored by a particular brand, do not ever become loyal to a brand. Get the camera for what it can give you, not what is on its brand :o

don't be afraid to jump brand if needed.

but if you really are attracted to the Olympus, den go for it lo. sometimes how you feel towards a camera is more important than the specs sheet...

Talk very easy. If u already heavily invested into a system/brand, u will waste alot money when u sell them. If got 5 lenses, each lost 200, total is 1000. Haven't count 2nd body and flashes.

Then 3 yrs later got another brand with better body how? Let ago again? Usually people invest in lenses not on the body that easily obsolete in yrs.

Why not? It really depends on what is important to you, the monetary value of your gears or the joy it had brought you.

I lost so much selling my gears that I don't even keep track liao. To me I rather spend more time shooting and enjoying the process, then to keep fretting over the losses I had to bear when I turnover my stuffs.

Ever considered that maybe it's not the system that's the problem?

Those people I know who really love photography, even give them an iPhone or an Instax, they also can enjoy taking pictures and their pictures are really wonderful.
