im using ezship and below is the weight measured at the warehouse.

actual weight: 1.94KG
volumetric weight: 2.79KG
chargable weight: 3.07KG

any idea why the chargeable weight is 3.07kg instead of 2.79kg?
ezbuy put my stuff into their own packaging?

ezbuy ezship is x1.1 of the chargeable weight. 2.79x1.1=3.069

moi deleted ezbuy app le after bad experience

Ya ezbuy has no buyer protection policy.The seller used a nice photo showing a thick cotton cargo shorts but I rec'd is a thin filmsy material.The CSO said ezbuy can't do anything about it.If I want return and refund I have to bear the return international and domestic shipping fees.

Unlike in shopee and lazada, the CSO will refund me in full upon investigation that my claim is true.
Same sentiment here,I gonna avoid ezbuy after bad experience.And their price is ABT same as shopee and lazada.No compelling reason to shop there anymore.

I never use ezshop or buy for me b4. If I copy paste a link into ezbuy, pay the first payment already, usually how is the second payment charged?

I don't know how the exact weight of the item. Do we also need to pay domestic shipping? Or chat with taobao seller first?

Domestic shipping usually already stated in seller's taobao page and included in the first payment

After first payment, ezbuy buy will place order and wait till its shipped to their warehouse. After which they'll then weigh & repackage if neccessary, then bill you the final cost of weight+shipping fees.
Settle the 2nd payment then can submit to ship

Air shipping no need GST until $400, while sea shipping need GST regardless of value.

So which one should I choose, for the cheapest shipping? If u need a rough gauge of size, then it is roughly the size and weight of about 2 sets of Mahjong-like tiles. Value of purchase around $100 in total.

other than that, factor in the cost based on weight/volume (sea around 3-4 times cheaper) before gst for sea

if ezship, u may also underdeclare value to save for sea...
since value u mentioned is around $100 (gst will be $7), maybe just go for air if under 5kg

Thinking of just getting ezbuy to buy for me, kinda troublesome to have to liaise with the Taobao seller, cos I realise that my target item need to be customised, so I need to give special instructions to them. Seems that need to install 阿里旺旺 to chat with them.

I checked with ezbuy.

For a 9kg item, it's gonna cost roughly $11 for sea shipping, while $54 for economy air shipping. I think I gonna opt for sea shipping.

However, after 15 days, the item is still not updated for my payment of shipping. Contacted cs and they insisted for proof of delivery. Reached out to seller and yuan tong and both are not helpful. Shown cs the same screenshot and they are saying they can't locate the delivery and, worse still, cite that delivery man may just send the item else where and mark it as delivered. Been ding dong with cs for 2 weeks. Any encounter where ezbuy refunds the amount? Any advise please

Ask seller to get proof of receipt（签收单） from the courier. If ezbuy received item, will sign on the courier form.

then show this to ezbuy.
