I went to Hour Glass to chat with my SA and check out some watches while waiting for him...

I was looking at this..

SA offered me this

Yeah of course I could get it later in life,which I will most probably do. Because like my friend said,you spend that much on this next watch,other watches in the 10-20k region I won't even bother looking...I would look for something at least 60k rang onwards. So yeah he woke me up from my beauty dream...

Lol I like the second watch. Very unique and nice. The price tag also nice lol. Can buy a car already.

40 croc birkin is quite rare lol. It would cost a bomb. I dun think 60k is enough.

i do have a keen eye for watches, but cannot afford to make it a "hobby" and everytime I walk into the watch shop, they again think I have no money and prolly no interested to buy any watches at all.

They say now you can get Merc C class around 120k with discounts and rebates that they give you. Quite good.

I think you can just save up for one rolex and you can wear the watch for the rest of your life. No need to collect lol.

when my parents was getting my sis a rolex watch for her 21st bday, i saw something that caught my eye, damn chio, but the price tag also chio. wait longer for my 21st.

the good thing abt rolex is: the watch face is more or less constant, like a Mercs. and it depreciates very little if not price can go up, thats why my mom's diamond/gold rolex can be sold at profit, at the price gold these days.

And...err no solid gold value doesn't follow gold value. It can be used as a guide because that's the very least u can get based on gold value but market rate is usually higher.

Say the gold content of a Rolex watch is somewhere around 3k value...but watch value is maybe 8-10k. Over time yes Rolex you won't lose money that's for sure.

Nahh...she's my regular SA...I always go to her..bring some bros buy watches from her also. service wise is better than normal person though she knows i wont buy.

yeah, suggest get it later on in life..

when you start to hit 20-25, you'll seek different priorities..then you'll might choose to channel your $60k funds to other hobbies..

travelling, wakeboarding, para-gliding, snorkelling.....

use ur funds wisely to get the most out of life...
