Start a demo account and chose a major pair to trade. Avoid yen pairs because too voilatile for newbie. Choose 3 indicator that you are comfortable with. Those too lagging ones discard and replace with more accurate ones. Practice practice practice. Then start real account. Pay some tuition fees and get a mentor. That's a good start

Must use longer time frame for direction. My 2017 strategy.

RSI on daily chart is overbought 73.89%. Weekly chart 45.63%. Still have more room to run so will see daily movement and decide next course of action.

Your Gold ETF can wait for RSI to reach close to 70% on weekly chart then dump to take profit. Dump at RSI 65% level if you kisasu.

Gold spot rate just shoot to US$1202/Oz!
