One directional price action sibei sian wan. You can keep on riding the wave but once trend u-turn you will be left high and dry up or down there.

You short? Got chance it may continue to spike. I have one stucked standard lot short position at 1.192!

After this week USD strength should come back. All anticipating Fatboy Kim to test or fire missile on Saturday thus safe haven bids across the market.

Yup I short and heng prata. Run one lot and planning to run the other soon. Thinking of betting kim humji to fire....

Yes I agree this week I believe many stops have been triggered if your stop loss threshold is too tight.

This sort of pips movement I have experienced a few times before. 100-300 pips movement in one trading day. So sometimes it goes in one direction for a single week. That means 300-500 pips from start to finish.

During such special circumstances where the USD has a bad diarrhea or on steriods. Either you set a 2-3 pips stop loss or hold it out for long periods (days, weeks or months) with ample margin. It will eventually recover. Trust me I have been through it many times before. The big boys earn big time this week.

Forex is a manipulation game. You need to swim along with the sharks and not get bitten at the same time. Don't believe you can read up Dr. Mahathir's old interviews when the Ringgit was whacked during the 1997-98 Asian financial crisis.

Yes I am serious. The regular posters here will know my trading style.

Anyway this is no big deal to me. It will eventually recover. See my signature. I am in it for the long term. Years and decades. My trading account is a form of high yield 'savings account'.

When you trade you must leave out your emotions. Only then you can see the big picture and stay very focused.
