I'm still new to moderating F&G, have observed that the culture here's very different, perhaps some circumstances in the past has led to the mods needing to remove stuff more liberally, leading to a oppression of sic, which is quite sad..

Anyway, I hope this can change, and slowly the community can legitly share useful information (without advertising of course) freely..

Me and the other F&G mods appreciate Rahman's and other members' reporting very much, and am sure the more regular community contributors want nothing more than improving F&G and making it a conducive place to discuss and share information.

Do try to report the obvious troll/advertising, the legit sharing by known community members should be allowed.

Like for example if an asos promotion is on, it should be allowed that forum members post something to alert the community of the limited period sale, but of course not spam the website's url on a regular basis.

I have spoken to leinad about this, and since his promotion to Senior Moderator, I believe he is also in a better position to assist in making the F&G community a better one.

If in the case a member does get booked for something he feels unjustified, do bring it up via PM to the mods here, I'm sure things can be solved amicably

Let's see if this works out.

bcoz there was an incident of locking thread.

In 2009, the entire Fred Perry thread was deleted not once but TWICE. Deleted, not locked. If locked, still viewable but if deleted its GONE

Futhermore, some users who spammed/advertised/conducted illegal etc. MO are either warned/awarded with infraction points/banned.

So its better to be safe than sorry.

And to those who've went to the sale, do not forget to sic your new hoots

Last but not least, thanks jpgnfX (Junior Moderator) for making F&G a better community.
