There are some M1200 which are made in portugal. Had a MIP M1200 Navy with white tips bought from asos a few months back. Sadly, i sold the polo away or else i could provide the wash tag.

MerfMerf once posted on page 17 of this thread the existing styles and codes as
M1200 (Made in Portugal / China)

I goggled M1200 Fred Perry Portugal and found this M1200 made in portugal, 40GBP:
http://eshop.fashionmuseumstore.com/store/product_info.php?currency=GBP&products_id=307

wash tag:

Tallies with style that MerfMerf provided
But I am not sure of its authenticity

Even if we can confirm that there are some M1200 made in Portugal, that doesnt prove Mistic's innocence. Need to see actual pics of his $90 polos.

i can verify that FP MIJ is about S$140 for F1102 after tax refund. and seems like only one store in japan provides tax refund...most of the FP shops don't. if im not wrong F1102 should be retailing for about S$180

Hi,
I bought new Fred Polo Shirt M12/157 polo shirt from something like ebay in my country.
The problem is, that I'm not sure that it is authentic.

It has good quality fred perry tag, logged buttons in black, tags said that it is made in england but the laurel is bigger and other than my M1200 Fred Perry shirt (bought the same way from the other seller).
The shirt was used by previous owner, so I thought that maybe laurel get a little bit wider (the shirt at the bottom was wider before I was it) because the shirt was too small for him?

i have some photos

is it possible that M12 made in UK shirts have a little bit biger laurel than M1200 made in China shirts?

Hope you will help me.
take care, grzechu

ps; sorry for my english

Sharing below information with all...

I believe your seller is based in Hongkong. There are a few of them which are likely to be connected to one another in some way and most of them are not using their own picture(s). Alot are taken from Japan websites instead. One polo (Made in England) after adding in shipping charges turn out to be about S$50 or below. A good buy for authentic piece but are they really authentic? My advice to all is not to be lured by the beautiful picture(s) and low price as often the things you received in the end may not be exactly what it seems to be.

Reply from Fred Perry UK regarding Made in Portugal M1200 shirts:

And to clarify for Amesty's Marketing/PR Manager, what she may actually mean is currently all the M1200 shirts are Made in China and they do not have any Made in Portugal M1200 shirt.

Also beware of fake Fred Perry polo from Thailand. The size label shows JASPO but the washing label shows Made in England. LOLx.

Anyway for a piece of mind and 100% genuine products please buy from authorized source. Cheers ;-)

Yes, but as I said the shirts was pre-owned & used so thats the explain of low price. It was send from Poland to Poland, seller have real photos of product.
The source is probably something like UK second hand.
As I said before, both shirts are made of very good quality cotton and tags & s/n seems to be ok, but the only diference is the laurel which is a little bit bigger on "M12/157 made in UK" than on my white "M1200/300 made in China".

Is there any way to spot that this is authentic shirt from photos I posted??
