how is this done? i dont want to play halfway.

You need someone with a PS3 or XB360 with GTA V. This person will log onto YOUR PSN/XBL account & complete the prologue for you(on their ps3/xb360). That is all.

Then, when you link the psn/xbl account to your Rockstar Social Club Account, you should get a "Welcome to Los Santos" achievement & the freebies will be unlocked.

Im trying this with a XBL account i created, just to do the linking.. So far the guy helping me out has not finished it. Theres a few people on GTA V PC Reddit offering this service. Can try from there also.

Log in to Rockstar Social Club account(you need to create 1 to play GTA V PC anyway) & search for crew EDMW. Theres 2.

The HWZ EDMW is the one currently active. Only console users so far since PC one not out. The other one,huihong just created...

If the console people dont mind, we can all stick to the HWZ one.

Yes, that achievement is the indicator that you will get the rewards. If dont get, send R* a ticket.

By the way, even though you unlocked the achievement, you still need to go find the stuffs. Some of them have missions attached to them. But non-returning players wont be able to get the missions at all.

On your side, you log onto your R* Social Club account & link your PSN to the R* Account

This one is solely for the achievement I believe. Saved data is character transfer.

But from what I read from R*, you can transfer your PS3 character to PC & then continue playing on PS3. The 2 toons will become separate entities. Try reading up on this. Could be a shortcut to get $$ & stuffs for yourself without affecting your friend..
