Some people should already have the Steam account linked because of Max Payne 3. You can't manually link it, you will need to open the game to link it.

Nope... u can only launch it via steam so u can use the steam overlay features

It wont even show on your profile if its a non steam game, I saw someone in reddit about the game wont have achievements even though its on steam? But i could be wrong i cant find that thread

For redemption from Rockstar Club, if I subsequently reformat my computer, any chance of being able to restore the game on the machine? Unlikely that Rockstar will allow me to apply my redemption code there again I suppose?
