I’m using the RM4 Pro to control Fanco fans via RF in 3 rooms, no issues.
Was still new to smart home back then which was 6 years ago.
If I were to redo the RF control part, I’ll probably look at Tuya ecosystem options.

For Mitsubishi Aircon control, read the earlier posts, best to avoid using IR to control.

Is Broadcom rm4 pro still the best to control non smart fanco rito fans and Mitsubishi air cons?

Is one RM4 pro sufficient for standard bto 4 room flat?
Not worth to me.

I just use a universal Tuya IR + RF hub.

Good enough for me.

To the sifus here.

What do you use to enable remote access for Home Assistant ?

Nabu Casa cloud ? Cloudflare / Tailscale ?

Recently got some Tuya zigbee switch, seems like there is pretty good advancement. Even non-neutral switch can serve as router as well, kind of surprise.

I think their quality has improved over the years.

My 40-50 Tuya devices are working well after 1+ year.

Only 1 switch casualty so far. Managed to get replacement from Smatrul.

Abit of update on Sonoff.

Neutral light switches are largely ok, motion sensors, human presence sensors are great, portable button switch very convenient, RF bridge worked like a charm as long as the devices are on 433mHz , their sonoff power plug is like a 1st line switches/"trips" off when ur devices overloads instead of tripping the circuit breaker, Sonoff water valve controller still not fixed up yet but should be fun.

For wall panels, I have the squarish 86 format NSPanel Pro which worked great -

.. and the ( more problematic ) 120 format NSPanel Pro with more estate space

My 120 NSPanel Pro have a troublesome glitch with the preloaded firmware at least for this batch.
After the panel is wall mounted and app connected, if a circuit trips for whatever reason while on the nascent preloaded firmware, it goes into a crazy bootloop and because there is no hard reset button for this model nor via the app, it requires physical powering off when the boot logo shows and do that 5x, this proved to be rather tedious to have to fiddle with the circuit breaker switch 5x ..

This silly bootloop issue goes away if the firmware is updated in stages all the way to v4.8xxx and newer. So for folks planning to buy, please take note.

Zero issues with the square 86 format panels.

Also initially thought it would be an intercom / walkie talkie speaker system of sorts between panels in different rooms ( e.g calling from kitchen to bedroom above ) , it actually acts like a "telephone" and requires the other panel user to "pick up" the call to talk ...
