Nope, my wall switch is not beside my wall socketspossible, just tap on the powerpoint switch beside it,

the easiest will be to lay a trunk (PVC Pipe) then.Nope, my wall switch is not beside my wall sockets
don't anyhow advise, the powerpoint is likely on a different breaker circuit from the light point, so cannot just tap the powerpoint neutral for the lighting switch.possible, just tap on the powerpoint switch beside it,
Is this true? Since residential electrical is only single phase, I am under the impression that the neutral is common be in the lightings or power point circuits. Furthermore, the circuit breakers are always wired to the live wire, never the neutral wire.don't anyhow advise, the powerpoint is likely on a different breaker circuit from the light point, so cannot just tap the powerpoint neutral for the lighting switch.
i think you don't know HDB electrical to say that i am advising anyhow.don't anyhow advise, the powerpoint is likely on a different breaker circuit from the light point, so cannot just tap the powerpoint neutral for the lighting switch.
Not all comments are from real substance. learn to differentiate from the real ones.Is this true? The knob can only adjust devices with % values in the aqara app like their smart bulbs, curtains or blinds.would like to ask regarding Smart dimmer switch options.
Intend to have Sol Luminaire lights integrated with smart dimming options on the wall switch and also a wireless switch to power it on.
Currently exploring Aqara, I see that there is a H1 Rotary switch on taobao, not sure if I can integrate it with the lights to incorporate dimming + another wireless switch at a different location to turn on/off.
Tried googling but not much information on the Aqara H1 wall switch rotary dimmers, I understand the wireless one only works with Aqara lights.
Even the wall switch with physical wires. I was hoping it would work like traditional dimmers. The knob can only adjust devices with % values in the aqara app like their smart bulbs, curtains or blinds.
I am aware of the residential electric wirings and this is the reason I questioned his (wacko) statement. Many of the smart switches operate with an internal relay, which close the external circuit on live wire to the device. The neutral wire to the smart switch is ONLY to power the internal electronics and relay, not the device itself. Not all comments are from real substance. learn to differentiate from the real ones.
there can be multiple RCCBs, so the advice is not prudent. Is this true? I wouldn't assume that the OP is asking in the context of HDB only. but if you do want to substantiate your advice to be applicable only in the context of HDB electrical wiring, then that would be good.i think you don't know HDB electrical to say that i am advising anyhow.

I am using Sonoff ZigBee 3.0 USB stick with HA on RPi4 with the Zigbee2Mqtt integration. I have Ikea, Tuya, Aqara and Sonoff ZigBee devices working with Z-wave and WIFI devices in my local network on single HA app.Is anyone into Zigbee integration on Home assistant? I have a Tuya ZIgbee 3.0 gateway and wanted to add the gateway into Homeassistant. The Zigbee gateway can be added in the Tuya app, however, the ZIgbee gateway cannot be integrated (not detected) on home assistant loaded on my Raspberrry Pi. So I am consolidating all the smart devices into a single ecosystem rather than having multiple app for different brands of smart devices.
You'll only be able to see it through the Tuya integration. This is because the Tuya gateway is a WiFi device (i.e. it connects to Tuya's cloud servers), thus you can't integrate it directly into HA. Tuya has announced native integration (including local access) into Home Assistant, but as of now local access has not been implemented yet.Is anyone into Zigbee integration on Home assistant? Is Sonoff ZigBee 3.0 USB stick coverage good, is the zigbee signal stable?I am using Sonoff ZigBee 3.0 USB stick with HA on RPi4 with the Zigbee2Mqtt integration. I have Ikea, Tuya, Aqara and Sonoff ZigBee devices working with Z-wave and WIFI devices in my local network on single HA app.
Does this means the Tuya Zigbee gateway is useless in HA? There have been quite a number of updates on the Tuya v2 integration and local tuya, wondering if they could be able to support the integration of their gateway in HA?You'll only be able to see it through the Tuya integration. As such, I stopped using the gateway and used the Sonoff Zigbee USB dongle similar to @duran.
Don't think it's totally useless, you would be able to see the zigbee devices added via the gateway in HA. But not sure about the level of support (i.e. whether all zigbee devices are supported, as I only added 3 Zigbee devices via the gateway before I switched.)Is Sonoff ZigBee 3.0 USB stick coverage good, is the zigbee signal stable?
I see that Sonoff released a newer variant of the ZIgbee 3.0 USD stick, are you using this?

There is a method to add Tuya ZIgbee gateway in HA describe in this article, maybe it can work.
