hi gurus, if i were to go with the xiaomi gateway, which I understand uses zigbee, does it mean that when it comes to smart door locks, any zigbee lock can link to the gateway?

Looking at the danalock v3 which is zigbee-based, but not sure if it can be synced with the xiaomi gateway. anyone can enlighten?
Dont think the integration is present for danalock + xiaomi/mijia

Update on my Aqara Non Neutral 2 gang that simply just died. Performed a post mortem. No physical burnt marks. However, a possible leak from the looks of it?

Any idea how to voice control Broadlink RF light switches via Google Home ?
I can voice control their Broadlink smart plug, but the RF light switch cannot, even when i set as scene in IHC

I assume you're referring to the Broadlink TC2. From my understanding, TC2 is paired directly in the IHC app as wall switches, and at the moment, Google Home app cannot discover wall switches under Broadlink Smart Home account, only lamps.

That was why I paid slightly more to buy the eTouch switches so that I can use my voice to turn on/off my switches via GHM/RM Pro.

anybody got inexpensive solution for automate curtains?

Not sure if this helps, but I paid $190 for 3 motors from Lazada and $400 for 3 tubes of Korean blinds from Carousell for my 5 room living room windows.

Seems like switches got high failure rate without neutral. Probably u can consider inline controller?

Not trying to promote this vendor but search yourself for alternative, there are cheaper ones.

Water heater and oven switch need 20A, I read the sonoff is 10a, still feasible?

Broadlink E touch 20A. Supports up to 20amps of current. Can be controlled using phone via the broadlink rm pro hub. 20amps of current means the power supported is 220v x 20a = 4400w. Well above any home based aircon and standard water heater power requirement.

If you prefer to have a switch that connects direct to wifi, you can also consider the Sonoff POW which supports up to 3500w.

Share link brand reviews ...

I'm can't share links but you can go Carousell and type in Korean Blinds, name of company is shades n shades.

As for the motor, go Lazada and search for zemismart broadlink motorized tube.

Anyone using livolo 3 gang switch? I can't seem to pair the livolo remote(up to 27 inputs) with that switch.

Looking at the speed, I think the motor is not powerful enough for the two layers type of Korean blinds. But considering it cost slightly above $60, it works just fine for those single layer kind of roller blinds.
