Are you under applecare? Also, did they take this as a defect?

They ask me to go down to the authorized service centre and if they tell me its cosmestic defect, I will need to call Apple and look for the advisor who attended to me.

Apple was trying to start the ERS but as the physical phone has not been verified, the system won't allowed them to do it so he asked me to proceed down to the service centre first.

Just encountered few weird bugs.

1) Phone restarted on its own a few times. How I know? Every time your phone restarts, it will prompt u to enter ur pin before using fingerprint.

2) Phone screen went bonkers with messed up lines before shutting down. Restarted and it worked fine.

3) After wiping the screen, touch screen is dead and phone hangs. Need to press power button to off the phone and on it before it comes alive again.

Checked under diagnostics and usage, seems like a kernel panic.

Hi.. u can go to Settings, General, Accesibility, Colour Tint. Tap it ON and adjust the Hue and Intensity to your liking. (My own opinion, lower the intensity for a more natural look)

Tried that before, cannot get close to ip6+ white.

Its not an issue. This is a more accurate display which is warmer. What you have been seeing before is a blue cooler tint which wasn't as accurate. You just find it weird cause you aren't used to it. If you really don't like it, you can google how to set colour tint and fix it on iphone 7 plus

To my naked eye, color accuracy in ip7+ is out due to warmer display. White does not show white actually.
Again this is subjective & personal preference.
Seem like all ip7+ come with warmer screen?

Well believe it or not, the yellow warmer tint is actually a more accurate display. Normal user see the blue cooler display for too long that a warm display seems like a defect to them

It is because you seen too long blueish screen and adapted to that is pure white but in actual it is not.
I find iPhone 7 Plus screen is the nicest LCD screen I ever own. Don't compare side by side, after a while you will notice actually iPhone 7 screen is much pleasing to eye and looking absolutely nice.

Yea.. I not used to using iPhone 7 Plus for now.. cause of its home button and iOS 10.. very used to iPhone 6s Plus and iOS 9..

That's why I don't wanna upgrade on older device

Hello all, just a quick question:

whats the difference between applecare and the mobileswop that singtel offers?

i see people who got applecare using their new phones without any form of protection. Does applecare allow you to get it exchanged 1-1 with no qns asked?

just got my iphone 7+ today and slapped a cheap TG on. im now contemplating on whether to get applecare or buy all the necessary and proper protections

sorry ah i noob.

I think mobileswop doesn't cover repair they cover missing phones?

Apple Care+ on the other hand covers subsidise repair cost for damages to your phone. And also extends the base warranty by another year.
