ƒ/1.8 will allow more light in than ƒ/2.8 so your night shot will be better with ƒ/1.8(wide-angle), no?

nope, like what i said, assuming your ISO is fixed, the more light you get, the shorter your shutter speed, so the difference is at your shutter speed, and u are less likely to have blur picture when the the shutter is shorter. but if the stabiliser works well, this will not affect any picture quality..

but in another scenario, if the software decided to bump up the ISO to compensate the longer shutter speed, yes it will reduce the dynamic range of your photo and increase the noise, hence your photo quality will reduced. it depends on how the software is coded.

Somehow, I feel that this iteration of iPhone isn't what Apple meant it to be :s22:
It's missing a couple of features like True Tone Display and Wireless Charging.

Wireless Charging and lightning earphones would kinda make sense though.

Just my 5 cents.

Do you not think Apple has all that technologies? That may be reserve for future iphone releases.. you know if not there wont be any surprises, heck, they may even have iphone 10 prototype lol.

Apple sales strategy has always been "slow-stable" year after year unlike Samsung and all others adopt "all features push out" release.. and I believe only Apple can do that without being lagged behind and pushed out from the market.. becos its Apple..

Spec wise apple may not seem as impressive as samsung. Just compare IP7+ to Note 7.

But its how the phone works that counts. Specs means nothing. Impressive to look at but meaningless in the real world unless it can prove itself.

Note 7 batt supposed to be so much longer lasting. In reality its not. Even with many features turned off (including GPS!) the phone is 30% by the time i get home. If need to OT die lah, phone sure flat. With the same usage, iphone 6s+ batt is about 60% when i get home. And everything including GPS is turned on.

So what if Note 7 had 4GB RAM? Does it run faster in the real world? I still get lags on firefox leh. Iphone only 2 GB but no lag at all.

Only the wide angle camera in the IP7+ have OIS. The tele lens dun have..

Yikes, I was looking for confirmation on that. Thought stabilisation would have been beneficial to the longer focal length and smaller aperture. I guess it'd come as 'improvement' on the next iPhone 7s/8/X. :s22:

Yup it's possible
I done this one my old ip6 no need dual cam

Just need to know the tactic

Sure, that's all possible given that you have a small subject (within minimal focus). For portraits or general human subjects, it's more flattering to opt for a longer focal length to avoid wide angle distortion. In addition, it compresses the subject background hence removing other distractions that might be in frame. :)

They do. Just that it's not yet perfected who knows haha
Some features probably couldn't make the cut due to time

There's no wireless charging because it's a metal phone dude.

i got a post piad under ST too
but ido the maths as i got penatly if i get ip7 from telco
i total damage if get from telco more exp and it will extend my contact with them too

stil got 1 more years then i will go to SIM only plan
cheaper in the long run

only suffer when buy phone more exp
its pays off long run

plus no obitigation can any time hop camp

What's important is that at the end of 2 years, one doesn't pay too much an interest for the phone with the plan.

Going for mySIM is for those who can afford buying the phone at cost price from Apple without having to worry that they're paying a few hundred dollars extra at the end of the 2 years with the postpaid plans.
