Is there difference between the capabilities of the cameras in iphone 7 and iPhone 6s Plus ?

Yeah, iphone 7 only. Not 7 plus.

Yeah. The main difference is probably in lowlight. Hardware wise has been improved all round too, so should get improved quality and better experience too. But features wise I believe both are same. 4K 30fps, slow mo 720p 240fps.

To me iPhone 6 vs 6s cam not much diff maybe unless u elarge it as 8mpx vs 12mpx

Even I own ip6 & SE & now ip7 I find their camera is not bad already plus now ip7 improv on the low light it's better as ip6 is weaker on low light but day light the camera is quite good

Depends on your usage. If camera is important to you then it's an upgrade. If you like the headphone jack then it's a downgrade.

They are pretty awesome for low light, especially the Gardens by the Bay ones.

I meet this issue on my iphone 6s plus.

Maybe is the hissing?

I think not hissing sound, i try samsung, my iphone 6s plus and xiaomi max all have the sound but only iphone 7 plus have front n bottom speaker which enlarge the sound.

IIRC, if comparing 6 Plus and 6s Plus, despite the jump from 8mp to 12mp, the pixel size for the 6Plus is larger than 6s Plus (1.5 microns vs 1.22 microns).

Btw, I'm holding on the 6s Plus now and reading this thread everyday is poisoning me to get the 7 Plus

Btw, any news about the hissing? Is it supposed to be normal? I notice that it does affect video recording in silent places. But not that big of a problem unless listening to the video with headphones on.

A few more samples from this morning. Comparing with S7 Edge. Actually quality is just as good on both, but i prefer the colour on the iPhone 7 more. More true to life. Not sure how to describe this, but when pixel peeping the image processing looks cleaner on the iPhone too.

Both are really good smartphone cameras though, can't go wrong with either.

Samsung seem to boost saturation of the photos more than iPhone. This makes the photos pop but at trade off of making photo slightly unrealistic. I think I prefer iPhone approach. If needed can boost up colors , otherwise it's close to real world.

Why is people still harping on the fact that the headphone port is removed? There will be a lot of conspiracy theory no doubt. But I am glad Apple has removed it moving forward.
