Try not to put your 7+ in water. I tried and now mine has got some water condensed inside the camera area. I just brought it to the bathtub and put it under water for around 30s only.

But on the positive side, it's still working fine even with water inside the camera.

Actually if hissing problem not a big issue to u, i dun suggest go 1-1.

First, u won't know the replacement will giv u what other issue.
Second, the imei no diff from box. Sell to others, price drop.
Third, waste time n effort.

#justsaying

I guess for my case if it's really only hissing issue I could wait for next batch.
But my other concern is with my home button, I noticed I need more effort to even place my thumb to unlock my screen whenever that reachability issue surfaced, and I do feel the tactic feedback abit lagging too

Alright thanks man. But not too sure about the pricing listed on the website. Like they will hold an amount from your CC in case of late return/unable to repair and etc. I will keep this option open and contact the CSO if needed. Thanks.

Yes they will hold an amount but will not be charged unless they received the return later than the expected date. DHL return very fast. 2 days will reach the Apple office.

Be careful. The warranty doesn't cover water damage as with all other water resistant phones.

I guess i will just go about and record some 4K videos as per normal and test if they have the hissing noise. If not I guess can close one eye on this issue since exchanged phone also presents this problem.

The issue will be there until apple fixed it from their production side. If it is not very obvious, I'll suggest to wait for a while before heading down to replace.

Apple will not acknowledge the issue since the issue is not widespread and does not hinder everyday usage.

It's sad to see that we all have to face these bugs/issues. I bought the 5 and 6 on launch day all no problem at all. 3rd time really is the charm lol.

Actually every iteration of iPhones have their fair share of issue but only how big is the issue. Because it is an apple product, people pay a premium over it so they expect it to be flawless which is impossible given the scale of mass production.

Apple QC has dropped but apple still has better QC than most manufacturers out there. Their Customer Service has no competition though.

Agreed. After-sales support is outstanding. But I would prefer if they iron out such bugs before releasing to the public.
