Hais... Now I don't know if I should exchange or wait - I got my 7+ on the 16th sep from StarHub. iirc-They say 1-1 can only be done within first 14 days if not after 14 days will have to go through more trouble and not confirm can get right? How ah...

anyone know how to check warranty eligiblity? have a 6s plus but idk whether my warranty still up anot, went apple site but the captcha image cannot load end up they locked me out because too many tries..

Tried before. Personally, I feel the adaptor by some gives better SQ. This one degrade the sound even more. Only advantage is this one can charge phone while listening to music.

But using the adaptor doesnt allow me to use the inline mic that is on my earpc... it doesn't work!

till now singtel no stock for iphone 7+. this is really disappointing from a major teleco with failed anticipation and planning

Not only singtel, other telecos too.
iPhone 7+ is low on stock.

How many of you guys set up your new iphones as “NEW” vs restoring from icloud?

I heard it is always good to set up as new phones so that the rubbish settings don’t get transferred to your new phones?

But it is very troublesome to keep setting up as new phone ya?

I always set as new for iPhone n iPad. Habit of mine.

Unless you don't need the backup from your previous phone, then of cos setting up as New is better.

I setup as new iPhone.

Because my photos, contacts are in iCloud. i jus need manually install apps using iTunes n do the settings.

Setup as new, definitely! It's fresh, clean and snappy. Besides for me tweaking settings n building back fave apps takes no more than half hour on fibre connection.

some of the guys at macrumors say apple engineering team says hissing is software related rather than hardware. so maybe we can expect a fix?

I always set up as iPhones and iPads as new.

If and when I can get a ip7+, I'd like to set it up as new. Can I just backup photos, sms, whatsapp on my old ip6+ using iTunes on my PC and then restore them onto a new ip7+ ?

u can choose if using iCloud backup...

I setup as new this time round on my 7. A chance for me to do housekeeping of the apps i really use. The data i lost are messages, health data and activity. The rest (whatsapp, pictures, line messages, telegram) all in cloud auto restore back to the phone. Uber and grab already have your data. Contacts calender all in cloud also.
