Anyone got issues with your Touch ID not recognising your fingerprint? I'm getting errors frequently indicating that it can't recognise my fingerprint, almost like 4 out of 10 times can recognise... not sure whether it's my Touch ID that's broken or something else...

It could be due to the registering process of the Touch ID as it captures parts by parts of a fingerprint and whatever fits in when accessing the phone, it will allow in.

Try removing the fingerprint and register it again.

In fact I feel it is too responsive. I just lightly and quickly press and release the home button to check time but it will still auto unlock. Tap and release, don't even need to hold till it unlock

AppleCare+ is the warranty that Apple sells.. You can only buy this warranty within 60 days of owning the device. It costs $229 and extends your warranty for a year, meaning you have 2 year warranty coverage. It comes with 2 accidental damage replacement which is subjected to service fee. Becoming warm is normal. If it becomes scorching hot then that's a concern

Will my sms especially group chat be restored if i reinstall and restore from icloud backup for whatsapp? Only worry that i will be out of the group chat and need admin to add me back again

iCloud restore will restore everything it backed up, like creating a complete copy if your old iPhone including music, videos, etc

Even if you don't restore from anything, you will ways be in the Whatsapp group you're in once you activate it on your new phone.

Getting warm is normal. Mine also get warm when charging. But it is not so hot till cannot touch.

Can see armorsuite on amazon as well. It has a lifetime warranty which bestskinesever does not offer. Bestskinsever is cheap cheapest though.

Sometimes when taking photo, the phone will auto reset(black screen with the center lines turning) and turn back on

You could enable the raise to wake feature, I find it relatively responsive

I disabled raise to wake feature as I don't want the phone to accidentally wake up when I put in my pants pocket.

Is your Home button sensor dying? Although it's a different issue. Did your fingerprint work on a previous phone with Touch ID?

My home button is still working... well this is my first iPhone so I don't have another but I do have an Air 2 and the Touch ID for that works flawlessly but for the 7 Plus not so much.

My home button is still working... well this is my first iPhone so I don't have another but I do have an Air 2 and the Touch ID for that works flawlessly but for the 7 Plus not so much.

u got a screen protector on? remove it and see got difference? last time i encountered this.

that is how it works. wifi turned on will make e location more accurate...

Using the phone halfway, be it facebook or telegram or other apps, it will turn suddenly go into black screen with loading icon at the center. After that, it will go back to the lock screen. Anyone have this issue? My ip7+ also have hissing issue prob during heavy load, not sure whether is it related.

Issue is not related and what you are facing is a springboard crash. Could be due to an app or setting. Try to factory reset and install just the apps you need and use your phone. Don't restore from backup see if issue solved. Otherwise, call Apple
