Have you tried to remove all the fingerprints, clean home button, set up fingerprint and test it? If issue still persist, suey.. can try online chat and see what they say

Issue is not related and what you are facing is a springboard crash. Could be due to an app or setting. Try to factory reset and install just the apps you need and use your phone. Don't restore from backup see if issue solved. Otherwise, call Apple

Okay, thank you for the correct term for my issue, will try do a reset and restore first
Starting a fresh would be my last choice

whenever you double "light tap" the home button (not the usual double click home button) ... it will make your current app "collapse" into half bottom... and the half top is empty... I think there's suppose to be something there..

wonder what's the function actually.

Or maybe it's already exist in ios 9 or 8..
mind me... I just migrate from ios 7 to 10...

Anyone when you reset phone, just prior to screen turning off, see some weird pixels on it?

However once it reboots, it's fine. Not sure if it's an iOS 10 issue?

Just bought iphone 7, tried to do a restore from my iPhone 6 back up from iTunes, but not all app are not restore, have to go AppStore to download one by one. Then I got an app, which I have been using since iphone 4, and no longer found in AppStore disappear and didn't copy over.

Is there anyway to copy this app over? Sad

Yup did all that, since I have sweaty hands I did more test and found out:

1. Sweaty finger + Sensor wet = Can't unlock
2. Sweaty finger + Sensor dry = Can't unlock
3. Non-sweaty finger + Sensor dry = Can unlock about 90%?

The funny thing about 1 and 2 for my Air 2 both still can unlock 100%

Seems like your Touch ID has some real problem.. I can confirm that the new Touch ID works even when it's a bit wet on mine unlike my older devices

You can try register your same fingerprint as different entries - one when your finger dry and another when sweaty

Yes i believe most ip7 have this issue. Ppl just didnt notice. As for black when i restart thenthing is back and white apple logo. Anw this issue can also be seen if you scroll your notification bar down... and then u move your assistive touch... in apple discussion ppl also have that. What you can do is go to settings > general > assesibiity > increase contrast. If u have no notification grt someone to send you whatsapp or msg and see.

Probably the most in-depth review on the iphone 7 you'll find. haha. But have to understand chinese. Detailed analysis on how the dual camera works, the DCI P3 format, etc. They even took apart the phone and put a mic to the processor to record the coil whine noise. haha.

I encountered this problem a few times already with my ip7+

Using the phone halfway, be it facebook or telegram or other apps, it will turn suddenly go into black screen with loading icon at the center. After that, it will go back to the lock screen. Anyone have this issue? My ip7+ also have hissing issue prob during heavy load, not sure whether is it related.

u can check logs. might have clues as to why e springboard crashed. settings > privacy > diagnostics & usage > diagnostics & usage data

So update on my issue, contacted Apple Support first thing they told me to do was to restore back to 10.0.2 and see whether it fixes it cause i was running on 10.1 Public Beta 3 but the issue still persist.

Then they wanted to run a diagnostic test on my phone but couldn't receive it my phone was on the "Waiting" screen for like 5 minutes before the CSO told to just close it not sure why though. So book an appointment at A.Labs Plaza Sing to see whether they can diagnose and fix it.

Hope they only fix the Touch ID and not give me a refurb cause I have a nice skin on my phone

Dont take 32gb.. 100% memory cfm not enough. out from box give only abt 28gb.. Best go for 128gb.. For 256gb is for heavy duty people, who install games alot, movies, photo, 4k video...

yeah i was thinking about 128gb too after the speed gate test.. the colour was also considering between matt black, gold and silver...

128 is juT nice lor not too big like 256 or too small like 32

I got both 256 and 128 as I game and Apple Music

If u want the best then is 256 is the only option as really proven the speed gate

256 got the best ram
As if u go google 32 128 using similar type of ram juR maybe it's samsung or toshiba ram and 256 is using another type 3D ram of something and one type of ram brands for it

So maybe apple went look for a much better ram type for its 256 flavour
