Call apple hotline 800 186 1087 and they will need to do some diagnose on the phone.
Now some telco cannot buy anymore. Last time I bought direct from Starhub but this year must buy direct from Apple.

I bought AppleCare+ at the same time with my iPhone 7 Plus at StarHub VivoCity branch.

I bought all my iPhones online (only 1 at vivo which I never enquired able) and was told over the phone when they called to verified no AppleCare+ and if I need to purchase must buy from apple direct.
That was in early oct so not sure about now.
Easier to get from telco when u get the phone from them if not had to spend sometime over the phone with them and run some diagnose on the phone.

Hi. I just purchased my iphone 7plus on 12/11, but I realised my LCD screen started to have those lines intermittently. Anyone facing similar issues? Never dropped or knocked my phone on any hard surface.

anybody experience that when you call to a customer service hotline.. be it whatever telco or even apple... the operator cant hear you? but on normal call no issues....

yes i experience this with HSBC banking CSO almost all the time, very very frustrating, i waited so long only for them to pick up and realized they can't hear me at all.

I am also not sure why is this happening.

yes very annoying ... specially when you waited for so long for them to attend your call... and will end up they will drop the call coz they cant hear you...

i dunno what is the issue....

Sorry what's a lemon? The LCD issue is intermittent so I'm afraid if I go down, they wouldn't believe me?

Anw I also called StarHub and their CSO told me to go to Apple instead of going back to StarHub but I just purchased the phone leh. Gg to Apple means I will get a refurbish set (with diff IMEI to my box -.-)

If your battery is bloated, applecare covers. Not sure on other scenarios

Will the first year warranty cover screen crack and battery problems?

screen crack definitely need applecare to cover. IIRC it covers for water damage also.

normal warranty only covers hardware faults.

I bought AppleCare+ for both my ip7 and ip7plus.
Only $228 for one device which is not high compare to screen crack u will have to pay more for replacement if not u have to settle for a screen repair which take days also.
$228 for 2 years even did not get to use it also it a good investment.
I had it for my ip6s also and yet to use the accidental damage claim also.

hmmm..does repairing a screen really cost more than $228 + 42 = $270?

BTW, most people get tempered glass protectors nowadays... is it really still a big risk nowadays?

I'm pondering about the same thing. My TG took the hit once when I dropped my ip6+ on a piece of gym equipment. One edge of the TG cracked but the screen was ok. Maybe the Spigen Armor case I'm using helped protect it too.

The cost of AC+ for my planned use of just one year is pretty significant.

Guys, have anyone trade in their phones at ah beng shops before? I just bought AP+ for my IP7Plus and my plan is to use my phone naked for the year then when IP8Plus comes out next year, I'm gonna use the Express Replacement Program to get a refurbished phone then trade in to ah beng shop.

Will Apple take the original box when I do the ERP? Or will the ahbeng shop not take in the refurbished phone since the IMEI is different?

Hope some bros can shed some light on this

i used to use this in 6splus and it is working fine.
now with ip7plus, the reading is quite off.

thats why exploring others.
