Intel radio modem in our Asian model. Not very good. Heats up easily esp underground in train journeys. Never encountered that for my 6s+ last year.

Mine's under Singtel and depending on location, will sometimes go to 3G and sometimes to 2-3 bars signal. Else, will be full signal strength at 4G.

My only issue with the 7 Plus is that some time (intermittently), there will be no data traffic even though with full signal strength, and have to restart the phone.

cheers

Yeah that's what I read about too and my 6s Plus also doesn't have that issue. How I wish we had the Qualcomm modem but it's not available for our market here.

Oh well, just have to make do with it.

No point going to M1 service centre. They will just turn you away. Head to Apple Authorised Service Centre like A.lab or QCD

Yeah Apple online chat also mentioned it'll probably be classified as cosmetic damage. No harm waiting for official Apple Store to open and then maybe can get a better response. AASPs anything they can siam they sure siam one.

I am asking because previously my iphone 6+ when full charged if overnight no use at most drop less than 5%...

Do you have any apps running in the background? I usually close all apps and even with some light usage after charging to full, I usually standby my phone my 11pm to 7:15am, it's still 100%, connected to home wifi.

So it's definitely not normal, unless you've power-hungry apps running in the background.

I also have a somewhat similar problem, but I just plugged it in charger overnight to solve the issue. Lol

The Qualcomm modem is only sold in the US market (maybe EU also) and supports just about all LTE bands as compared to Intel one which supports most LTE bands but not as many as Qualcomm's. it's also said to be more stable.
