2. Different projects may offer different flat types. Visit the HDB Flat Portal for more details on the flat types offered.
3. Applications include those who have applied in previous launches, some of whom may still be waiting to book a flat, which on average form about 20% of total applications. To improve the chances of success, applicants can look for flat application categories with application rates below the median.
4. We shortlist more applicants than the available flat supply. Taking into account the applicable quotas, the number of applicants shortlisted may thus be more than 100% and potentially up to 200% of the flat supply. All shortlisted applicants will receive a queue number and may have a chance to book a flat, if those with smaller queue numbers drop out.

Application Rates:
The median application rate is the 50th percentile of the application rates, i.e. half of the flat application categories have application rates above this number, and half have application rates below it.
Application rates for each household type (rounded to one decimal place) = Number of applications received for that household type / Public flat supply set aside for that household type (rounded to whole number). The public flat supply set aside for each household type as follows:

• 2-Room Flexi Flats
  • Seniors: At least 40% of flats (or minimum of 100 units per project, whichever is higher)
  • Non-Seniors:Balance 60% of the flats, which is re-based to 100% and distributed among:
    • First-timer families: At least 20% of flats
    • First-timer singles: Up to 65% of flats
    • Second-timer families: Up to 15% of flats
• 3-Room and Bigger Flats
  • Standard flats
    • First-timer families: At least 80% of 3-Room flats and 90% of 4-Room and bigger flats
    • Second-timer families: Up to 20% of 3-Room flats and 10% of 4-Room and bigger flats
  • Plus/ Prime flats
    • First-timer families: At least 90% of 3-Room and bigger flats
    • Second-timer families: Up to 10% of 3-Room and bigger flats

Under Prime or Plus, no more 5 years MOP hor, somemore got clawback. By the time 10 year MOP, most will be in their 40s, got retrench or not also not sure. If want 2 properties, both buy pte lah, only need 1 name niah. One fine day, both dunnone to want work, sell both properties in millions, buy 2 room - flexies for seniors , can sleep on gold bar mattresses, wear gold thread saries.
