For decades, the U.S. has been one of the biggest champions of free trade, pushing for globalisation, signing FTAs, and encouraging open markets. Then suddenly, boom, it becomes protectionism.

So it’s kind of ironic because the U.S. is the one that helped build the global free trade system. Then it got upset when other countries played the game better and benefited from it.

They have to stop the outsourcing policy and start employing directly. If SG Government still continues the outsourcing might as well close down all their HR Departments in all their ministries and agencies...

To be frank and honest those boomers in the Civil Services should be retired the most at the age of 60. Allow the younger generation to take over their job/post. They are hindering the younger generation from career progression. The private sectors must do likewise.
