From epic to unique, if u want to slowly upgrade 1 weapon, do u know u need 40k gold leaves?

Hi all,
So sorry I have a question.. hopefully you all can help me.. I bought a normal max base stat 12 Eclectic Fennel and rank it up to epic.. instead of getting a max stat 113 Epic Eclectic Fennel, I got a 110 stat one..

It seems like when I rank up my max stat normal hat to rare, the rare hat I got will be 1 point short of max stat and reduces more when I rank it up to epic..

Any ideas guys? Is there something I should do to lvl it up to max and ranking it so that the base max stat will continue to stay max when it is ranked up?

It depends on how perfectionistic you are.
Your 'max' normal fennel is not really max.
It could be 11.5, 11.6, 11.7, 11.8, 11.9. Rounded up as 'max' 12 base stats. So when you rank up it wont be the real max.

u compare to epic max stats
its always 1 off

i tried with gun. max stat from normal upgrade all the way to epic still max stat.
