bout Reputation

Reputation is a rough measurement of your contribution to InvestingNote community and how much others trust you. The more reputation you earn, the more impactful you will be to the Investing community.

How to Gain Reputation?

The primary way to gain reputation is by posting good investing ideas and stock estimates. You will gain reputation points for any of the following:

1. Get a new follower
2. Others like your post (limited to 8 points per day from each unique user)
3. Others like your comment (limited to 4 points per day from each unique user)
4. Others share your post publicly

All users start with 10 reputation points (reward for signing up InvestingNote.com). On daily basis, you can earn a maximum of 8 and 4 reputation points from each user that likes all your posts and comments respectively. The reputation points are always updated once on the next day.

About Rewards

You can now redeem real vouchers with your rewards points:

Earn 1 reward point for every reputation point earned.
Only reward points will be used for rewards redemption. Reputation points will not change in any case.
Simply put, the more reputation points you get, the more gifts you can redeem!

yaloh, if i remember correctly, is 50k capped..
still considering whether to put there..
FD nowadays sibei pathetic sia:(

You can only get the good FDs rates if you are depositing 500k and above. I know of some banks hitting 4% per annum, funds lock in maybe around a year.
Can be even higher if the FD amount is waaayyyyy bigger.:)

ML - just to check, it is compounding interest right?
Only on the 10th year to get 2.38%?

yeah, that is how I viewed...
starting low and only can see the interest is in the mid of the term right?

first year 1.04% interest is already higher than most bank account and have flexibility to redeem anytime and park into other month SSB if the rate is better like what ML say...

No ah, CIMB fast saver is giving 1%
And not forgetting redeem before mature date, will incur $2 per transaction:s22:

The extra 0.4% might already cover the transaction fee compared to CIMB fast saver you mentioned but of course this is depending on how much you are putting in :s13:

I am intending to hold long term cause I am using part of my emergency fund which is normally kept in back account. Will only redeem if sh1t happens like kana retrench or something :s22:
