the worry here is if taxs go up from 15% to 30%, dpu will be lesser right?

even SG reits are only safe for the coming 4-5 years nia

once the tax comes back, DPU need pay 10% tax is sianz........ all reits will go down by 10% in value too?

very good write up
the worry here is if taxs go up from 15% to 30%, dpu will be lesser right?

I will worry more for Areit. FLT is still growing its dpu well.

Areit i feel is more solid wor, they at least got 10 year track record

FLT looks good on paper but have yet to proven with a 5 or 10 year track record

if the ATO wanted to target the REITs, long time ago would have an uproar kena liao...they're looking at stapled securities, primarily which I think only FHT and AusNet MAY be affected, though I think AusNet recently got restructured with the ATO's blessings so they may not kena. For FHT they're not into infrastructure, which the ATO is actively targeting, but they MIGHT be affected la.

PS: If all else fails, buy securities that give fully-franked dividends. ANZ Bank, anyone?
