you guys didn't read the article?

“For identification purposes, all chauffeur-driven PHCs must be affixed with tamper-evident decals issued by the LTA (Land Transport Authority), by the middle of this year,” he added. “Together with our existing rules that require PHCs to be licensed as public service vehicles and to have adequate insurance, these measures help LTA better enforce against errant drivers and vehicle owners.”

you have to pardon some of the SSI guys... sometimes they just glance thru and comment... and others will follow to comment along the same line. :s13:

well i sure the impact on the optimism among current shareholders is definitely not insignificant...

I will not be surprise if we see a 3-4% increase tomorrow in early trading, but profit taking towards the end of Thursday latest as they turn cautious for the earnings report.

I seldom take cab but I do remember that was the case not too long ago.

Just that they will insist on cash payments. =:p

i think u misunderstood me. this is indeed old news, not saying the date of the article is old though.

all is under vocational licence framework. ok new decal... how is dat new to me than when i first heard abt vocational licence framework for ug?

"old news" expresses my feeling abt the impact of this news. if confusing, can leave it as it is. my stand won't change. hope clarifies for all readers.

relax. my reply was more towards layers who said that there isn't a date in place.

u are also right that the demands for the licensing might not be as stringent as licensed taxi drivers (or cdg shareholders =:p ) will like. but i think the optimism will spill over tomorrow :o
