as far as i know, KC is less than 10% of the chairman personal portfolio n doesnt belong to edmw capital. you can see their portfolio here, no KC shares inside. these are all taken directly from their website.

DYODD and see which of their positions are in the red and green. whats the net % red/green.

I lazy... just a glance at their positions for april, if still holding, net should be red now

I am pretty sure they made heavy losses for both 2015 and 2016

Its really hard to trade in this market

When sti was 2500-2800 i kept shouting like a fool BUY BUY BUY
Many waited for 2000 or 1500 only to miss the boat

Will the boat come back? Yes it will
But that may be the next down cycle which maybe a fewnyears time

i keep hearing this phrase call CNAV and I can only assume it means stocks that have book value of (current assets - all liabilities - non-controlling equity) > market price? They are call net-net stocks or Graham's below net working capital companies.

i think non of them are net net :s13:

CNAV = Conservative Net Asset Value.
I cannot find the formula anywhere, so my guess is they ownself created their own formula to calculate.

CNAV is different from Graham's net-net.

Moi can only say...CNAV is not 100% equal to net-net ;)

Ya there's no public info about the formula, hehe

Now the tough part is when to rebalance by selling a bit
My portfolio now around 320k worth
If goes to 330k
May rebalance down to 300k

When the odds are against them, a lot people adopt a 'wait and see' mentality......little do they know that is exactly the time to grit their teeth, clench their fist and push on! :D

Go Beyond! Plus Ultra! :s12:

Company already hire professionals to give u nav

Those bloggers act so pro to redo and give u cnav

For me, small cap nav numbers cannot be trusted
But blue chip nav numbers are usually safe, if want tobe super hum ji then only go in at 10-30% discount to nav like how i hoot banks sci glp

Banks i on avg paid 10% discount to book
Sci 20%
Glp and fcl i paid 30% discount to book

For reits i normally pay book or less to be safe

CNAV is usesless in my view, extra work to confuse yourself
