What I find irritating is that this is a forum for stock discussion, yet I am seeing lots of childish behaviour all around celebrating wu eh bo stuffs.

Actually why so many people buay song ML? Just because he is boastful? A lot of people here also boastful leh.

I only know for DW case, it's because DW wrote an article on ML.

I lurked the forum in 2011~2012. Back then the star here was DW. Then I concluded (1) I needed a warchest before investing, (2) STI was too high back then to invest.

So I saved and started here in 2016. Then got so many new stars like DK, ML, yyhwin

I initially thought DW should be on good terms with ML since they both were value investors.

If you can make XXX% pa through trading, why do you need to to do investing to earn XX% pa. He cannot answer.

He claimed he does both. Short term trading higher returns than long term investing.

If short term trading can generate higher returns per annum than longer term, then why not focus 100% of capital on the former?

Obviously to hedge. It is not sustainable to do 500% per annum.
