To EDMW, it is rubbish because most of the general population assumes the following:
  1. Only the rich or wealthy can afford to invest
  2. Investing is akin to gambling; a losing proposition
  3. Investing is too complicated to understand
  4. Got CPF, got HDB no need scared

SINGAPORE (Nov 30): DBS Vickers Securities, the brokerage unit of DBS Group, is conducting a business rationalisation exercise for its institutional business unit, according to Bloomberg.

“After much consideration, we have decided to conduct a business rationalisation exercise for the institutional business unit, and a small number of staff, just over a dozen across the region, will be impacted,” said DBS Vickers in a statement seen by Bloomberg.

DBS Vickers says it will offer all affected employees opportunities to be redeployed within DBS and will support them closely through the transition.

redeployed as what? customer service? insurance agents?
