From what I have gathered so far, Taipei Main Station Underground Mall has toy shops selling nanoblock. The shops are around Y13 - Y15 exit.

Another shop is within walking distance from the Taipei Main Station.
東 東 玩 具 城
台北市大同區太原路54號
http://dd-toytown.anow.tw/

There are 2 Taiwan exclusive; Chiang kai-shek Memorial Hall and Taipei 101.
東 東 玩 具 城 having discount for this 2 items. Taipei 101 is ~SGD$33($59.90) and CKS Memorial Hall is ~$23($39.30). The prices in bracket is what I saw from toybrickstation. Still pretty new to nanoblock stuff so anyone who see this post can give more valuable advise?

I flying on 9 july. Dont go hoot all finish. Leave some for me!! Haha

Please don't promote LoZ building bricks here. They not only steal Kawadas designs. But also the intellectual property of other original creators (Chris and other jap creators etc)

It's probably not a big deal for most people. But for some of us it is. Thank you.

My message was to inform, not promote. I never attempt to sell anything in this forum :p

I also believe it's a collector's right and freedom to decide how to pursuit his hobby. For me, I buy both versions of the nanoblock brand and loz (e.g. Sulley) and actually find that the loz version is more 3D effect and bigger in size than the nano-disney version. For passionate collectors, one can go buy lose nanoblock bricks to build following Loz instructions. In a nutshell, its about sharing a hobby of collecting and building nano-sized bricks, as long as the design is nice and quality is ok.

Similarly, I buy both the real TMNT lego sets but I try to collect all the alternate brands of TMNT mini figures which I could find also. Isn't that the instinct of a true collector? collect all versions.

LAstly, not every one is as talented as Chris, and Chris had also shared his designs openly in his blog. Even with instructions, it's hard to build Chris' designs (e.g. Cap America, Starwars char, simpsons) since the availability of the type and colour of nanoblocks is a big question itself.

Thanks.

I know what you mean and I have nothing against people who buy LoZ bricks or use them to free-hand. Many creative and awesome individuals do that too. You my friend, are an informed individual and that's cool. Anyone is free to collect any bootleg they deem fit.

What I'm saying is, Nanoblock is a brand and this is a Nanoblock thread. Many people merely see it as nano-blocks. It's already bad enough that many online sellers are confusing the general public. It's precisely because LoZ copied his designs, that he has stopped sharing them.

I guess the question is, is one a Nanoblock fan, or is one a nano-block fan. There's a huge difference. In any case, I have nothing against you. Just stating views. :)
