Hey guys, anyone knows where I can get the official tweezer? Just cut my nails and basically removing any block seem impossible! Lol

Is kino selling? Oh~ and what's the price?

TBS was selling, they do restock quite often. bout $18 iirc?

It usually costs about 1000 yen in JPN (there are slightly cheaper options in various places), so...you will be paying a considerable but reasonable mark up for it.

I saw a bunch of official tweezers at NEX. I forgot to check the price. There's a toy shop beside the arcade/animal shop that sells a lot of legos/gundams and other stuff. They have most of the newer nanoblocks, including mewtwo, charizard and gengar. I don't think i saw the dinos, but maybe i wasn't looking properly after i was so excited to find the pokemon ones. lol.

Anyone using glass cabinet from ikea to display your collection?

I'm using the DETOLF shelf from Ikea. I actually just got it the other day. Brown base now selling for $59 only. :D (black base is still $79)

You are talking about Gifts + Greetings.
I quite dislike that shop for one simple reason. They stock the fake versions of actual Kawada designs. i.e. they sell LoZ Winnie the Pooh, Sully...etc.

It's one thing to sell LoZ's unique products (which I have no grouse over), but it's another to be selling bootlegs side by side with the official products.

MewTwo, Charizard and Gengar are island wide releases by the local distributor. You can find them anywhere.

Feels like a social experiment which you put the same designs that Nanoblock and LOZ have released together, and see how people choose one over the other.

Guess they just wanna give people the option of getting cheap ones~ that said, I got a minion one as a gift and built it recently and I realise, the quality of the blocks is quite different. Nanoblock is so much better!

Still hoping they will release avengers series though~

Do they sell Nanoblocks in HK and are they cheaper?

Nanoblocks in HK are most commonly found at log on. I would consider the price slightly more expensive depending on our exchange rates. Plus the fact that we get 20% discount here periodically. What would be more interesting to get from log on are their own special instructions sets.

The quality of the bricks is one thing, but that isn't the main issue.

Giving an options to customers is one thing - because oh customers don't really bother about intellectual property rights since it's all about what we want.

Not just Kawada, but the various stakeholders. LoZ has the potential to be a self-respecting brand (they do have some good designs - assuming they weren't copied) in regards to design, but they are just choosing not to go that route.

Let's put it this way, I highly doubt LoZ paid a cent to Marvel, Disney etc for using their designs.

It's one thing to free build and share the instructions online (as what Chris does), but it's another to package these instructions and sell them as your own. Oh wait, LoZ simply took Chris's instructions and sold them as their own too!

*rant over*

Social experiment...maybe. A Winnie the Pooh that costs $34.90 and a Winnie the Pooh that costs $12.90, it's a no brainer for the casual buyer.

I am waiting to see what happens if they bring in LoZ's Charizard, Gengar and Mewtwo. Let's see.

Take note, It is Weagle, not LOZ.

Weagle counterfeits Pokemon, USJ and Disney Nanoblocks.

weird. I am sure I saw the box with LoZ?
I can GPGT, but lazy to take the photo out of my phone.

the LoZ logo is on the top of their usual square box. (for winnie the pooh, goofy, etc)

I've seen you mention about this Weagle for awhile now, but I haven't seen any packaging with Weagle.

Care to clarify more about this Weagle that is wiggling it's way through?

As far as I know, LOZ has released some Disney stuff before this new brand Weagle came along. LOZ's Gift Series uses boxes that we are familiar with.

Weagle's full name is Weagle Mini Blocks. You can google using the full name and see what's going on.

Here is a picture of how Weagle kits look like:

The funny part about Weagle is that I can't find the company behind it.

The new pokemon series you talked about will be released by Weagle. What really bugs me is that how was it possible for Weagle to counterfeit that fast...

PRC company is pretty scary.
To get a sellable mock out, usually wont need more than 2 days.

LoZ still has some Disney stuff, I've seen the boxes at Gifts + Greetings at Nex.

Don't think it was that fast? Since they released the packaging after the releases. They probably pre-empted the release already and just needed to get the moulds for the pieces up once the got hold of the instructions. Not that tough.

This Weagle is a weasel.
