May i ask is there any alternate sets i can buy in order to build himeji castle? cant find it at metro or tru. dont really wanna be paying 40+ for it at toystation.

try to find the instruction online. Than see which pack have those parts. I remember himeji castle dun have special parts, only need to take note of colour.

If buy 1x landmark for baseplate + 2x grey set (elephant) + 1x white set (panda or polar bear), then about same price? I find TRU selling $39.90 for Himeji is ok coz the set is made in Japan, unlike the common ones which are made in China.

I think 2 grey elephant 1 white set is not enough to make the himeji...

agree..!! buy the actual set is better, all instructions swee swee printed out... very hard and no point DIY one.. unless you wanan DIY animals bird.. then can buy other colors... rite?
