Monotone set

Thought i'll mention..
the Monotone set does not actually allow you to make everything shown on the box.

It gives you about 800 pieces in total of White, Gray, Dark Gray and Black pieces and you can "free make" or make using existing instructions.

not sold in SG. have to import in.
The monotone set (and all the other colour sets for the matter) are just loose parts that allow you to make anything you want.
There are several sites out there that allows you to do such imports..but gotta pay a premium though.

As for the clownfish, grand piano and dolphin, you would have to import in too.

Creative Nanoblock-er

I came across this guy's FB page - pretty awesome stuff.
facebook dot com/chrisnanoblock

Basically he made everything through reverse engineering (and loads of loose parts bought online)

Think he's a Malaysian.

gonna hoot some in HK~

Nice! Hopefully they sell the loose parts there too...

I spoke to the supplier in SG (supplies to major retailers here) at the STGCC few weeks back...they said they aren't bringing in other stuff because there's no demand =(

Tokyo Sky Tree (Small version)

www dot toybrickstation dot com/prodselect/products.php?681&cPath=70

Brickstation at Serene Centre brought in some sets of the Tokyo Sky Tree that was just released not too long ago. Don't think they brought in very many sets.

It retails for about 2,625 Yen (~$41) in Japan (Rakuten), so if you include shipping fees its about there.

Just spreading the word around =)

For any who might be interested.
Brickstation at Serene Centre brought in the Himeiji Castle and Yamato Battleship.

They also have the Tokyo Skytree available and are bringing in the LED base too I believe.

I already have quite a collection of nanoblocks and tokyo sky tree is really something different.

They have one new type of brick which have a VERY VERY weird shape and the Tokyo Sky Tree is easily one of the most difficult to be done.

yep. Tokyo Sky Tree is indeed different.
I have the deluxe version fixed up, even though there are very few pieces (~1700 pieces) it took me longer to do it than the Himeji Castle.

NiVleK - What pieces do you own at the moment?

I'm looking to purchase the new TinTin releases in Dec!

Tin Tin is damn bloody expensive.....I am still thinking of whether to get them.

For deluxe, I have the Himeji and Yamato. The other castle not yet since it is easily available. My Akagi should be here this weekend.

As for the smaller ones, I probably have everything that you can possibly find here locally..
