and i've started on marlinspike, the box wasn't compartmentalised inside. but the instructions booklet sport the same look as the unicorn's. but half the size. haha..

after 3 hours:

marlinspike difficulty is 4. but so far it's been pretty easy to build.. it's almost boring actually, compared to the work that went into the Unicorn

hmm.. i didn't modify the front leh, i just followed the instructions. i rest the long beam on the ship, so it doesn't move around.

after assembling everything it's pretty stable. other than the 3 "towers" at the back which are pretty flimsy. lol.

hmm i see. I also followed the instructions and compared the picture on the box haha...the "4 brick piece" seems to be floating and not connected to the "unicorn head statue" at the front..oh well maybe I'll go adjust it again hehe.

nice! thanks for the pics. The marlinspike was originally what I wanted to get, but when the pictures of it were released, felt it was too simplistic looking.

actually paypal's conversion rate is 1 sgd : 58 Yen so it's about $280

if I don't count the front sail that protrudes out of the ship, it's about 2/3 the length of Schloss. The first large sail is taller is about the same height as Schloss's tallest point and it's about the same width.

haha.. agree that the marlinspike was too simplistic. it feels very underwhelming doing it after doing the unicorn..

Thought it might be helpful for you to know that Keikyu, is only sold on the fifth floor of this place called 京急百貨店, supposedly somewhere a little bit off the central part of Tokyo.

The Disney pieces might be found in different stores too.
