yeah...so most of the retail sites took down the designs that are coming in later suppose.

I just posted 3 pics I found.

yeah.. the hippo we saw in the nanoblock museum book. the french bulldog was shown online.. the casing is pretty intriguing from the pics..

i think they called it pied bulldog or sth. you can actually find the "missing" nanoblocks on the japan ver of amiami site. so i'm assuming those are for japan release only and cannot be shipped internationally.. :(

if I use SAL and have bulk orders, I can almost guarantee that the price will be cheaper than if they are sold in SG. Not a lot cheaper, but still slightly cheaper. I think it's just a matter of wanting to get it fast for me.

The SG supplier is (SUPER) slow in bringing in new stuff. In any case I am biased against them due to some incident which I shall not mention here (least they claim I am defaming them)

While they do bring in most of the designs, they usually don't bring in the Deluxe sets and some of the mid-range ($20+) series.

The Deluxe sets aside, they did not bring in the Daschund and the Tokyo Sky Tree mini. No LED plate. Not to mention selling 2010's Christmas range in 2011 (not totally a bad thing though...since you couldn't get it elsewhere...)

Wa~ Si mi incident?? PM me~ LoL~~:s22:

haha...i'm interested to get ALL of them except the collection case (which I'm considering based on what I am seeing in the pictures) and the DJ set. I generally don't like most of the sight-to-see structures, but both Big Ben and LT of Pisa intrigues me.

Actually...I noticed there are 2 items that was there previously but now removed. I recall seeing a French Bulldog (a different one from the black one that was released in 2010) that is made up of both black and white parts and another piece named "White Electric Bass" - I'm presuming is the bass guitar.

anyway GPGT!

heya! glad to see a new participants on this thread :s13:
The official casings are not released yet (even in Japan) but are opened for pre-orders on some of the online sites some of us listed in the earlier threads. Many of us posted variety of links. Just scan through some of the older threads.

Whether or not it will come to Singapore, will totally depend on the supplier. I think the answer is likely not.

As to where to buy them in Singapore itself, you can get them at ToysRus or Action City. I usually buy from this place called "Toy Brick Station" that carries the exact same range but at slightly cheaper prices. They also do direct imports from Japan to bring in some popular pieces at very limited stocks. (and pretty steep prices - but willing buyer willing seller so...)

Other than that, if you are looking for certain designs not available in SG, you have to buy them online.

is it cheaper to buy in departmental stores or the toy station?

for the standard kits available in SG - Toy/brickstation is cheaper.

$9.90 vs $9 there.
$11.90 vs $11 there.
$27.90/$29.90 vs $23/$26 there.

Only down side it's located at quite an ulu place and closes ~6.30 - 7pm
So unless you are getting a couple of kits, might not be worth the bus fare.

Driving there is horrible too...parking is ok, usually empty carpark at 6+pm. but when you exit the carpark one-way road to Farrer...which has horrible Jam in the evenings

final thoughts; i was most disappointed with marlinspike.
if you can only buy 1 from this line, definitely unicorn!
shark is great to do as well. rocket is simple to do, but finished product looks awesome with its height.

cheers!

YIKES. I feel your pain lol.
I buy one Unicorn already...burn one big hole

At least you saved abit on the EMS by shipping 2 by 2...
Which Rakuten shop you went? Hobby Toys or O-Kawaya?

I'm now secretly happy I made the right choice not to buy the Marlinspike!
