I wish your pocket good luck... I started think it save $$ as compare to my other hobbies.. but i was wrong....

Might be getting the instruments nanoblocks. But need to save $$ for the endoskeketon.

me started last year or so thinking ok lah each is ard $10+ then before i know i bot so many sets and still got many undone yet lol... the headache is still my tokyo sky tree. do halfway still slanted then dump aside. now looking at it i wanna dismantle all and redo.

I also still have about 20 sets un-done and having more coming in haha...slowly =) pace yourself, enjoy it.

I feel you haha. it's actually the first 5 layers that is hard.
What I used was a simple tweezer + another flat metal tool to "knock" the pieces so that they will be firmer. Would also put in my fingers through the middle of the tower to firm up the shape.

Another thing that helped me was that I actually built up maybe 2 layers at once at the corners (when you start making it you will see it's possible, just look to the next instruction) so that it will be more firm. Twisting the specially shaped blocks also helped me.

It is tough yes, but it can be done. Just be patient.

USJ Endoskeleton was a 1-hit KO for me. The moment I saw I knew I had to get it.

So was the Schloss Neuschwanstein Deluxe...which became my 2nd kit I bought...

my frenz bot his first set Schloss Neuschwanstein Deluxe and i admired his toughness as nanoblocks is his first set and he got such a tough set lol... he is done halfway and left it as it is lol...

Yeah.. Toys are exp hobbies.. Due to that alot are limited edition, thats why come with a price..

Actually in terms of complexity it isn't tough. Just very time consuming and your friend might have gotten burnt out before he can start to enjoy haha.

and guess what he recently went to taiwan and got a few smaller sets and he mentioned the ship and castle are so much cheaper than singapore. i do my himeji castle till i wanna faint but managed to complete it within days and got a customized case for it. now is to complete my tokyo sky tree. so next time go taiwan muz hoot tons of nanoblocks lol

which part of taiwan? taipei?...my sister recently went to taipei and found no nanoblocks?

Taipei have. Must go those toys specialty shops, u can go the K area of taipei undergrd mall or ximending's wan nian, there got sell.

I saw small packet one is abt 270NT and larger box one is abt 600NT.

Yeah will be cheaper there.
Schloss Deluxe is brought in by the official local supplier - Lancashire Marketing (they have to apply a license with Kawada I believe)
Himeji Delixe/Mini was brought in directly by Toy brick Station (Local suppliers for God knows what reason didn't bring in)

Actually for deluxe sets. Not many are worth getting in SG. Cheaper to ship in yourself. =)
It's just a matter of effort vs $$. Which do you have more? Time or $$.

HK also dont have much, other than Log-On. i've trawled many places in search of my other toys, i dont see them anywhere. which is pretty surprising considering HK's proximity to JP..

last nov i went to hk and went to the shopping ctr near cosmo hotel and the 1st lvl sells the german castle and himeji castle while 2nd flr sells those small pkts.
