Long time no see, so many things have changed... @.@

I don't mind supplying some product photos I have even I'm not a diehard collector.

I think we can take some examples from amazon when displaying the info of the product, and then the release date and any useful info/review.

Anyway, what is the font did you use for the page?

I used the font Mytupi for the headers, looks similar to the one used in the official nanoblock banner. The headers are actually png images. The banner i took from Google :s22:

For the normal text im not sure what that font is, its the default one that comes with Mediawiki i think :s11:

Not yet =(
Been busy. But let's discuss this!

What do you guys think about the existing layout? I think the front page is fine like that, but how should it appear in the main page? StealthEagle, you wanna help us too? =D

Ok some things I feel the page should NOT do, and that is post up the instructions on how to make the kits. Think Kawada doesn't like that.

Sort of a mockup, its actually a template that can be transferred to the server when we start the wiki, so its fully functional. :)

The pic i posted is actually the main page, where you have access to all the categories. I dont know what categories nanoblocks can be classified into, so i just added Kits and Individual Pieces as examples. :s22:

hmmm based on what I know we have:
Mini Series (NBC collections)
Sight to see Series (NBH collections)
Disneyland Japan Exclusives
Universal Studio Japan Exclusives
Mini gifts (ML collections)
Tin Tin Series
Limited Editions - This one is quite HUGE and we can break it down further

Anything else I missed out?

Edit: duh! The Deluxe series! haha.

Anyone else here willing to volunteer to help contribute info to the wiki site?
kee chiu!

We don't need much info! Just some manual labour of counting the pieces in 2-3 kits and we can take it from there! We can do this as a community slowly!

If im not wrong already got 5 people :)

Apart from main page i need to create templates for each kit, series as block piece, then at that point of time can host the wiki and get the domain. :o

Yeah a template with a:
<insert picture here>
<kit name>
<kit model number>

Maybe a dropdownbox with the types of parts, another with the colours and finally the qty. is that hard to do?

A background would be better. The white can be very glaring and also gives too much empty space.

I think we can follow the navigation format like this one: Mass Effect Wiki - Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, Walkthroughs, and more

The top section with buttons we can display the sets logos.

I think I can do the background and the logos, but I need to know the background size first.

The contents we listed out everything.

What about the Standard, Basic, Mono sets etc?

Hey thats a good idea, instead of word links have them in pictures.

Can you make the logos in 256 x 256 size?

Best if the logos have a minimalist style, in line with the nanoblock theme of simplicity :)

The "info" and "getting started" header move to the top while the "news" and "editor's corner" move down.

As for the categories, i think these few would be good.

Under the "info" header:
Kits & Themes (All the kits available grouped within their themes)
Nanoblock Pieces (An entire table of Kawada produced nanoblock pieces)
Custom built nanoblock models (If people want to put them up together with instructions, there will be a category for them to do so)
Reviews (People can post kit reviews here)

Under the "getting started" header:
Editing the wiki (I'll write some small tutorials on how to add an article to the wiki)
FAQ (More info about the wiki)
About (What this wiki is about)

If i have missed out anything just suggest more. :)

For the background img, is it possible for you to create a tile background (fill up the entire background with a tiny img) like brickpedia?

If cannot, you know how big the background img?
