Great stuff guys! I'm now sourcing to see of there alr any existing Jap fan sites we can tap on. So far none that I know of. I think it looks great so far! Will be quite excited to put in my first entry haha.

Also trying to get a complete list of all the possible Nanos

Sidenote: how are we going to list the type of parts? I.e how are we gonna name them. (1- brick square, 1-brick round?) lol

Or take a picture of the type of part? Needs brainstorm for ideas.

can name them by their color followed by dimensions? eg Blue 2x2, Clear 4x1 etc.

The more unusual blocks, so far i'd only see 2 kinds:
- Round 1x1, self-explanatory
- Special 2x1, 2x1 blocks that has only 1 joint/head on top

I don't mind helping, but what do I need to do? There's actually a Japanese website with parts information for some kits.

Sic pls!!
Haha.

Not much, just help count parts for 1-2 kits you own. And mate some brainstorming on creating the site. Or if you have the tech knowledge to assist in creating the wiki!

Anyone got a good domain (web address) name to suggest for the wiki page?

nanoblock.wikia.com

That domain only when using Wikia's wiki service then can get

Now the nanoblock wiki is using Mediawiki software hosted locally. When decided on the web address then i'll put it online because i need a domain name for people to be able to access the Wiki itself. Original Mediawiki has less restrictions, has more functionality and allows us for more customization of the layout. :D

[EDIT] Actually i guess we could also use Wikia, much less hassle setting up even though got more restrictions. I registered a the wiki page at nanoblock.wikia.com

What are the restrictions?

Anyway, I think we can play around the standard layout, since it is fixed, things are much easier.

About the logos, any changes in the size for them since we are on wikia?

No changes, still 256 x 256 :)
But the logos may be scaled down.
I'll do the page layouts after lunch so that we can get started on adding some kits and information to the wiki page.

Heres the template for each Kit page.

on3in.png

Theres a section to put each individual part, as well as a section to put special parts and stickers found in that kit.

I'll do up the page for individual parts soon. :)

The spanner images are placeholder images that will link to individual pieces.

Anything i can do to improve the kits page? Any sections im missing out?
