I need some clarification on the organization of pieces..

The pieces separate into these few categories is okay?

-Bricks (Includes rounded edge bricks and the standard kind)
-Joints (The joints)
-Stickers (The stickers found in some sets)
-Any others? There are more types of parts im sure, but i only know the above three types of parts.

Maybe combine "joints" with "special parts" category. Stickers could fall under "special parts" too

Just to double conform on the series...are some of the series like the Tin Tin and Disney are separate lines of their own? Like Lego has its Batman and Marvel line ups.

Cos I'm doing the logos and they the line ups get confusing.

I will have to check. One easy way is to see the 3 alphabet code at the start of the model number. NBC, NBH etc

yep.. if i remember correctly.. Tin Tin series is TIN0001, TIN0002, TIN0003, TIN0004.
or something like that.

Supposed to be categorized into different part types for more clarity, not just special and normal.

The series and themes have unique codes on their own.
Mini collection = NBC
Sight to see = NBH
tintin = TIN
Gifts series = ML
Etc

OKay changed the Pieces category:

Plates and Studs - The usual plates and studs used to build.

Misc Pieces - Since there are so few joint and sticker pieces i just group them together under Misc. In the future anymore special parts also can put in Misc.

Base Plates - All the base plates, LED ones, large ones, the normal ones also put in here.

Actually one item can be in multiple categories, so eg the Mauritshuis is a Sights to See kit, we can tag it with Limited Edition and it will appear under the Limited Edition category as well as the Sights to See category. So i think that one dont need to worry. Like group the sets according to their theme then just add them to the limited edition category as well.
