some of us just buy the smaller kits when they're on sale..

the basic blocks set actually have a limited number of pieces too and doesn't come cheap in SG either..

he said he was taking a hiatus.. and has not returned till date. many of us have done up his creations.. they're so much nicer than the originals. haha.. although it consumes up a huge number of blocks too..

Just back from Taiwan, and have got 2 boxes of Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall for sale. This is the one with the passport (first edition I think)..

Anyone interested? Before I post onto ebay, haha. Selling at S$45 each!
(Have to take some slight $$ profit la, cause I hand carried all the way so the boxes won't cui.. :s)

And with that, only meetups available..
If not later the box cui I also heartache..

and. YES. LOL at the Birds and Guitars thing. I was saying the exact same thing to my friend. I'm definitely collecting the birds...might be tempted to get all the guitars now.

Not to mention I'm definitely getting the Kangaroo and Giraffe too.

The new Giraffe has ball joints for the neck.

they only added a trishaw for the new raimon compared to the original one. like not very worth it for me since i already have the original raimon.

but the kangaroo looks cute. maybe i'll get it when i get the guitars and bird to complete my collection too.

it's quite curious, they seem to be remaking a lot of the older stuff. kangaroo's cute though! i'm finding the new joints for the giraffe a little weird. maybe it'll look different in person.

The Sydney Opera House:

Mostly Kawada is 'upgrading' the old stuff to V2.0, if you have all of the V1.0 stuff, maybe you are likely to give a miss unless they are redesigned. Who wants a budgie with 10 different colour versions?

Are there any other interesting sets that I should get? I prefer buildings over organics - blocky animals just dont appeal to me.
