Anyway, as promised. Here are the instructions to the ver1 Disneyland castle.
There were only 3 main colours, White, Grey and Blue. (With a little yellow on top) So it was easy to guess the words.

To be specific, light grey, lemon yellow (bright yellow), cyan and white (not sure it is pure white or has slight creamy hue white).

The parts can be found in the Basic kit.

Well. The kit is retired. They aren't reproducing it. I dont see a major problem.

Which is why its my policy to no longer share instructions of existing kits.

Windmill was released by local distri. 25 sgd at TBS.
If got 10% discount will Be cheaper. But gotta wait lor.

If one of the restrictions involves with sharing publicity is a no-no in Kawada's books, then yes. Given that situation, the owner has to ask the upload to remove it.

It is quite a grey area so it is hard to pinpoint what is wrong or right. I have seen an app containing many out-of-productions Lego instructions and nothing was done.

Don't forget about copycat companies are hungry for freebies and crediting them as their creations.

Shrugs, maybe I just have different opinion against these copycats because having more actually means there are people interested. But collectors will always go back to the actual brand. With more people playing with blocks, whether nanoblock or not, it means community is getting bigger.

Lego is easy la.. There's always the lego sign. Actually nanoblocks are difficult.. Because there's so many out there.

I bought some Taiwan brand which are actually cute (vespa!!), and not bad quality.

There's another brand Utico which use a nanoblock similar bricks to build Remote Cars.

But these are not copycat la unlike the china one.. Just a wider collection of bricks creations.

Till the end.. Nanoblock still has its collectors market. Copycats are always copycats la.. Never ahead of the real ones! It just becomes an issue with non-collectors where they buy regardless of brand lo.

If they actually have the heart to release similar items, whether or not the community choose to share.. They'll always find ways to kope the design one.

Though frankly I'm slightly happy to see fakes, not because I support it la, but because it really means it's getting popular enough for fakes to be in the market.

It is a copyright infringement. However, not all copyright infringements are enforceable (as mentioned due to territorial/country laws etc). Many things these days definitely break and infringe on copyright laws. I.e. Running Man with English Subs. The official producers (SBS?) don't pursue these 'infringers' for obvious reasons. It's a grey area la...


Trademarks are a different story.

speaking of knockoffs.. i don't remember if i ever shared this. 1 - 2 years back i went to cameron highlands. at a row of shops there, i found nanoblock knock offs, but supersized!! hahaha..

imagine nanoblock giraffe but upsized using bricks about the size of normal lego..

the build quality was terrible of course, i had to use superglue to glue the legs so that the giraffe could stand. the bricks didnt have the high gloss finishing and smelled kinda weird to me.

but it was cheap, i think about RM5 only. so i bought it for fun..
